Skyline & Colorado Feeding Kids

It was a bright sunny Colorado morning when the women of Skyline Chorus arrived at FERN Warehouse to pack meals for Colorado Feeding Kids, a local charity.  The Skyline volunteers, alongside family members (including kids!), packed 18,000 of the 50,000 meals that were loaded on a truck bound for Houston Saturday, September 2nd. The ladies filled the warehouse with song and laughter infusing those meals with love and care.

Colorado Feeding Kids has been helping families in need for 10 years and is supported 100% by donations.  All work is performed by volunteers.

CBS Channel 4 was on site for the event and interviewed Skyline's director, Vickie Maybury and Colorado Feeding Kids' president, Ken Bradley.

Thank you to everyone who participated for what turned out to be a great Skyline Day of Service! Smiles, hugs, laughter and joy shined in every face as we left the warehouse. A sense of a job well done and a full heart was a pretty good way to start the Labor Day weekend!
