Directed by the dynamic and talented Master 700 Director Vickie Maybury, the women of Skyline enjoy a love of singing and an enthusiasm for sharing the joy of music. In addition to its many performances in and around the Denver metropolitan area, the chorus is the 2016 4th Place International Medalist and sports a repertoire that includes gospel, pop, show tunes, old ballads that tug at your heartstrings and of course traditional barbershop melodies.

A Denver-based chapter of Sweet Adelines International, Skyline began with 20 singers in 1962 and now enjoys more than 140 members.  We enjoy performing for and giving back to communities all around the Denver metropolitan area.  In addition to the list of our many performances from the last 5 years (below), Skyline shares our joy of music and the gift of time to give back to our communities in a variety of ways.

  • The Skyline Heartsong Foundation strives to enrich the lives of young women who are seeking a credible and supportive environment to build mentoring relationships, develop new friendships, gain musical knowledge and to grow and flourish with self-confidence, self-esteem and hope.
  • In September 2017 and June 2018, Skyline participated in meal packs for Colorado Feeding Kids.  During these packs alone, 20,000 meals for children were packaged and shipped to local food banks in the Denver area.

Skyline also enjoys competition in the Sweet Adelines International organization.  Skyline has been the Region 8 champion in each competition year since 2001.  We have also competed at the international level, most recently placing 4th in the world at the 2016 Sweet Adelines International (SAI) Convention in Las Vegas.

Women of all ages and backgrounds make up Skyline Chorus. We are: high school/college students, dancers, actors, teachers, doctors, lawyers, engineers, homemakers, grandmothers/mothers/daughters and we have a spot on the risers for you! We meet weekly to hone our craft and to create harmony. We invite you to stop in on a Tuesday night for our rehearsal or come to one of our performances to experience the enthusiasm and positive energy "live" and in person.

Skyline Chorus strives to enrich, inspire and bring joy to our community through musical performance and education, with the objective of advancing and preserving the barbershop music art form.  Some of our recent performance and education highlights are below and check HERE for more information about recent and upcoming events!
